Mis-marketed
Yes, it is not a terrible podcast, it’s so-so. But they mis-marketed it as true crime and that has consequences. Also, it feels like they are exploiting the truly sad situation in Ciudad Juárez to supplement their fictional story.

The isolated audio from the crime sounds staged as do many of the interviews. And google searches about the case pull up only recent blog/tumblr posts or links to this podcast. Having a hard time believing this isn’t a scripted drama.

The whole story is a work of fiction and the fact that the producers of this podcast do not state this up-front is reason number one for the one-star review.
