#11: Shifting from Emotional to Intuitive Eating with Brittni Soo
Listen now
Description
This week we are diving into one woman's experience with emotional and how she's turned this sometimes taboo phrase into an empowering statement in the scope of intuitive eating. Brittni Soo is a mom to four year old Phoenix, wife to Zoli, and owner of The Yoga Standard! On this episode, Kat and Brittni talk about the root of emotional eating stemming from childhood experiences and how it shaped them as women as they began to develop in their young adult years including the pressures of society, partying, taking Adderal, and relationships. They also get into how Brittni is learning to re-parent herself as she parents her daughter and reframing what food looks like. And while emotional eating can be an uncomfortable topic at times, ultimately it is an invitation to become intuitive with your body and truly become connected to what it needs when the mind is running in circles! Brittni shares the tools in her toolbox that have become her *must haves* when she finds herself struggling with emotional eating including EFT and muscle testing! Kat wraps up the episode announcing Brittni's upcoming 12 Day Challenge her "The Sustenance Standard".
