#8: How Shedding My Over Independence Made Me A Better Woman
Listen now
Description
Have you ever felt like being super independent feels safe? Like not needing anyone is a great excuse to not get *too* involved with other people JUST IN CASE they disappoint you, don't live up to your "expectations", or you get cold feet about being vulnerable? Yep, Kat's been there and this week she dives into what that experience was like for her and the turning point that she started realizing that she needed to start letting people in and learning how to safely rely on people for her own growth and to teach herself how to have healthy relationships with people. She talks about how working a 12-step CODA program helped her learn how to develop healthy + loving relationships with people within her own boundaries and how that played into all relationships in her life, especially within healing in romantic relationships. It's safe to let people in when you can build trust, respect, and mutual effort between you and another person! Or, more so, that's what Kat is learning! Join the journey with her this week on this raw episode. Tell Kat what you thought about this weeks episode over on Instagram HERE!
