I just finished listening to the episode on time management. I love the idea of chunking goals in shorter duration so you can evaluate progress and make changes as needed. The discussion about mastermind was great also. Accountability and support are paramount to success.

I flashback to my college days (no, not the ones on the weekend), but think back to some of my college professors. They always looked stressed. Some days they seemed like an unguided missile. I took particular note because my grade may depend on it. I wish they had this podcast back then. If...Read full review »

Totally niche, which means totally appropriate and helpful for you, if you are creating or are part of a research team. You can hear the dedication to the topic, and it's great information.Read full review »

As a grant writer and proposal writer, I enjoy this podcast. It is always great to hear from the long-term academics in research.

I love how Matt described this podcast: "virtual coffee shop for mentoring" and I couldn't agree more. I've listened to several episodes, have had a great experience and definitely have learned a lot from the host and all of the guests! This show is highly recommended!Read full review »

This is a very professionally done podcast with two knowledgeable and charming hosts. I look forward to hearing all they have to say and learning from their guests. And I plan to recommend the show to my grad students. Thanks for a great podcast!

An under-utilized area that is being given the overdue spotlight, Matt and Christine do a beautiful job at normalizing the issues that go with the academic world and how to make it work.

Love the concept! Listened to the first few episodes and it’s clear that the hosts are thoughtfully exploring the kinds of topics scientists and academics really need to do all the non-science work that wasn’t part of our training (building/managing a team, automating processes, etc.). Can’t...Read full review »
