Listenable, but the Hosts Are Entitled
Don’t know what separates this podcast from any other similar true crime show. That said, it’s well produced and solidly put together — though I feel I’ve got to mention episode 3, where the hosts travel through a part of the state heavily hit by meth and opioid problems while grossly “ooing” and ahhing” for the benefit of the listener. “Someone LIVES there?” one of the hosts rudely asks, in reference to a trailer home. It reeked of bourgeoise entitlement, and kinda shows that the main host, who proudly brandishes the southern twang in her voice while repeatedly reminding us that she hails from the area the victim was from, might not be quite as empathetic as she thinks she is.

I love the content of this podcast and the host is great, however the background music is too loud. It often obscures the conversations and drowns out the host’s voice, making it hard to follow. If the music was quieter, I’d give it 5 stars because the content is great!!
