Came to hear about Mitrice Richardson
As someone born, raised & currently still living in LA, the Mitrice Richardson case is huge. The host does such an excellent job with coverage because so many of the details in this podcast are not available through mainstream media but it offers tons of nuance to the case that is absolutely necessary. The interviews with her mentor give apt context to the time leading up to her disappearance and allows the listener to actually get to know Mitrice a little apart from the 1 dimensional portrayal in mainstream media. Disappointed but not surprised at the behavior of the Lost Hills Sheriff’s department, LA and it’s tertiaries have had a long-standing issue with mistreatment of POC detainees and this podcast highlights that.

More reviews of Hell and Gone
I’m so very happy this podcast is happening. Melbourne in my hometown. I’ve heard about this growing up. I know these people. Thank you

Good content but the music is so loud it’s hard to focus on it. The part with ringing bells when they go to Rebecca’s dad’s office was particularly crazy-making. I’d encourage adjusting the levels and not using that jangly bell sound.
