Listen,
The thing about Jeff’s stories is that you can’t stop listening to them. The minute one ends, I get this feeling that I need to hear another. They make your insides move, your feelings, your head, your gut—body and mind at work to figure something out. There’s always a puzzle to ponder and walk through. Here Be Monsters tackles difficult, sometimes unspeakable stories, and then challenges you to find both the light and the dark. I was listening to a HBM story in my car, one that Jefrey was telling to an audience. I felt myself smiling and laughing, tears welling in my eyes because the story was so good, so true. And then it ended--and I started applauding. Alone and in my car. That is what these stories do to you, they transport you to another place, and make you forget where you are. You should be listening to HBM. But maybe not when you are driving. That might be dangerous.

I listened to every episode over the last two days. Similar to This American Life or Radiolab. The music is very well done and the production quality is excellent. The stories are interesting, entertaining and provocative. Thanks for a great podcast!
