My Favorite Podcast
On the level of the best of the Radiotopia lineup; so much so that one wonders why it’s not already a part of Radiotopia. What makes this podcast stand out is it’s storyteller-centeredness; it’s seamless and original soundtrack; and it’s occasional light-hearted episodes. There really isn’t anything quite like it. It is storytelling-based similar to The Moth, but has avant-garde studio production qualities somewhat similar but not as noisy as Radiolab sometimes gets; is wistful like The Memory Palace without falling into the mournfulness trap; and has a sense of humor. At its best, it is on the level of the strongest episodes of Love+Radio or Strangers.

This show is so unique in its structure. I love the dreamlike qualities of the show, from the ambient music to the thoughtful and intriguing subjects, all while resembling a dream you faintly recall right after you awaken!

Always fun, always interesting, always well produced. In the same vein as "Radio Lab" or "This American Life." Check it out!Read full review »
