I listen to many podcasts, and HHH is my hands down favorite. Matt, Katy, Sandjha, Desember and Keith feel like my best friends. Although they are preaching to the choir with me, I learn so much from them, as I am nortwell versed in biblical history. I look forward to every new episode. Thanks guys!

I found this podcast 2 years ago when I really needed to hear people talking about all the things I was already feeling about religion - and Christianity specifically, but never heard anyone talk about. I felt such a weight lift from me as I went back and listened to every episode and gained so...Read full review »

This podcast is clearly one of my favorites. I enjoy all the thought provoking content that needs to be highlighted in modern culture. Does this review count towards Matt’s tattoo? 😎

Great interview! I’m sure this rings true for many people. You all are the best!!

I appreciate hearing a group of people sharing opinions and views with respect for one another. But I doubt deeply conservative religious folk would view most of the members of this group with respect. Suggestion. New drinking game: Take a shot every time Decimber says “know what I’m saying?”

Wow. Tried. Wanted to like it. It was nearly incoherent for me.

A round table discussion of issues pertinent to the modern church by a group of unorthodox thinkers of different persuasions. They'll not always agree with guests or even each other at times. How healthy is that compared to the usual indoctrination? Thinking back over the years I've...Read full review »

Always an enjoyable listen with interesting guests.

The hosts are funny and down to earth. Whether you agree with everything is hardly the point- this podcast will help you dive into questions and viewpoints that linger in our minds, but never get addressed. If you have never felt free to explore certain ideas due to the religious spaces that...Read full review »

Best. Podcast. Ever. This podcast has introduced me to so many people that have blown my mind as I’ve been in recovery from religious trauma. Highly recommend.

I was a listener from the first episode and it was so helpful to feel not alone in a deconstruction process. The guests have always been great!

There is a refreshing and genuine tone to the podcast. The hosts are sincere. I like the cheerful banter among them. But the content is solid. I’ve learned a LOT. The guests on the podcast are incredibly knowledgeable and things are communicated in a way that makes sense. This has been a very...Read full review »

This is an excellent podcast for people deconstructing from fundamentalist evangelicalism or just for those with questions about Christianity. As an added bonus, you get some great comic relief from the hosts!! Give it a listen.

When I started to loosen the ties that had bound me to a lot of narrow religious thinking, I found a few podcasts that offered new ways of thinking. Heretic Happy Hour was one of those. The hosts work so well together, each one offering a unique perspective and insights. And they’re funny, too!...Read full review »

I started deconstructing first and it was quite a lonesome and serious process. I struggled to explain my experiences to my husband. I was so happy when HE introduced ME to HHH. He connected with the humor of the hosts and the podcast created an onramp for him to engage in these discussions with...Read full review »

I listened to the most recent episode, which was a weird one to start with because it talked all about a transition to a new format. But I loved the energy and banter between the guests. And as a big fantasy book fan, I listened to the LOTR episode, and it was great. Would love to nerd out with...Read full review »

You know that “allergic reaction” you experience when certain Christians just check out of moral discussions if it “doesn’t align with what the bible teaches”? That’s not an issue here! The happy hour heretics discuss EVERYTHING without reserve. It’s a refreshing cathartic beverage of knowledge...Read full review »

I was raised in a conservative, evangelical home. When I started thinking outside that tiny box, I felt guilt and shame. This podcast has truly helped free me from that tiny little box. It has opened my eyes and my heart in so many ways. I couldn’t have come upon it at a more perfect time!

More people & podcasts are talking these days about the things Jesus taught (in the 4 gospels), but there are a few of his teachings that almost never get serious coverage.
