I listen to this in the car on my way to work. I like the shorter and more focused single-topic episodes and the frog sound quizzes!

I’m new to this show and I really enjoy it. I love reptiles and I love learning about other Herptiles. I recommend this show to anyone who likes to learn and who is passionate about reptiles and/or amphibians!

Absolutely the best herp podcast available, especially for the nerdy or research oriented among us. If you want something beyond herpetoculture, this is for you. The hosts wit and banter makes it all the more enjoyable.

A much-needed academic approach to reptiles and amphibians. Ben and Tom are great at putting high level information into a digestible format for the average enthusiast.

Ben and Tom present their material in a straightforward/ easy to understand manner. The topics are broad and informative. They are both super likable blokes and they have a great mix of humor thrown in as well. Keep at it legends. Big fan.

Guys, you make my drive to work a little more interesting! I love the scientific papers, that’s something I’m not well versed in, so it’s great to learn more in that area. In the caecilian episode you made a brief mention of research done by Bill Hayes on juvenile rattle snake envenomation. I...Read full review »

Absolutely amazing podcast. The hosts do a great job explaining terms and going in depth on recent and past herpetological studies. This re-lit my passion for herpetology and got me going back to school!

If you want to learn more about the current state of reptile and amphibian research, I recommend you become a regular listener, as they focus on...Read full review »

If you have any interest in reptiles or amphibians then this is a great listen. The subjects are super interesting and for people that may not have the stomach or attention span for scientific journals, the hosts make it easy to digest, often humorous and are quite frankly a pleasure to listen to.

Found this after it was mentioned by Darren Naish on a recent Tet Zoo podcats episode and I’m glad I did. I get to live vicariously through these two bio-nerds as they share their thoughts on interesting published scientific papers while having a bit of a laugh. I like the feel of it all, like...Read full review »

Excellent and very interesting conversation from obviously informed presenters. Learn about recent research, all extensively referenced, about a variety of reptiles... lizards and snakes.
