So excited for more!!
I have loved your channel for a while now, and I am looking forward to seeing how Thoraya is as a driving force in the conversation. For the prompt: about two years ago, my boyfriend was driving the two of us through Chicago traffic. We were behind someone that was looking down at their phone and would leave a lot of space in front of them. We were at an intersection with a green light, but the traffic at the street ahead was so backed up that we ended up in the intersection. My boyfriend tried to get the car in front of us’ attention so they could move forward since they had an entire car length of space in front of them, but our car horn is broken. He basically started to release the brake and press it rapidly so our car was rocking hard. We weren’t in a rush and we weren’t angry, but we just didn’t feel comfortable about being in the intersection since we could have all fit. The stranger was actually a pedestrian to our right, waiting for the crosswalk to walk in front of us. He was this regular-looking man, probably in his mid twenties. He was watching what we were doing and laughing pretty hard. I told my boyfriend “this guy is laughing at you” and we both looked and he laughed harder. We eventually got the car to move forward so we were out of the way and the stranger just walked on. He had such a vibrant smile, and the situation made us laugh for like 15 minutes. It’s so silly because it sticks with me and I don’t even know why. I wonder if the stranger still remembers it happing.

I had told her the amount for her food and she muttered “how much?” in Spanish (I also speak Spanish). I started speaking to her in Spanish, telling her how much her food was, where the...Read full review »

Every morning I would walk past an elderly homeless woman who had a child’s ever for the world she lived in. Every morning I bring her breakfast and every morning she would be across her park bench “asleep”. Every morning I would set breakfast down and pretend not to hear her giggles and step...Read full review »
