Whatever happened to simple communication?
The best way to communicate is to use simple language and not all of these bells and whistles. This show has content that could fit into 10 minutes or so -- but instead it drones on and on using gimmick after gimmick to try and make the content sound more interesting than it is. The main presenter is also way too enthused at all times. He sounds incredibly fake and patronizing. It's almost like a voice you'd expect for hosting Sesame Street.Read full review »

Sorry, I tried. It's clearly well produced and well advertised but too many gimmicks, no reporting and pretty basic topics. Listen to Radiolab instead. There are now too many other good pods out there that this is just not worth it. Do better.Read full review »

I am someone who is passionate about psychology. I'd always been a fan of the Hidden Brain segment of NPR news and was psyched (haha) to hear it was becoming a podcast.
