Description
Nudging is the art of "ever so gently" influencing someones behaviour. This could be as simple as a countdown counter to make someone make a choice faster, or in a more serious case, package pills in a way that lowers the suicide rate on a national scale. The definition of a Nudge is, any aspect of the choice architecture that alters peoples behaviour in a predictable way without forbidding any options or significantly changing their economic incentive. To count as a mere nudge the intervention must be easy and cheap to avoid. Nudges are not mandates. In this episode you will learn about Choice architecture. Nudges, Sludges, Friction and Libertarian PaternalismSuicide rates and Gym memberships
