So interesting and enjoyable
Great podcast exploring historical gay art and the way we gays viewed art in the past. Bryan Rucker is so smart and funny and has great guests. Susan Sontag did not create camp. It existed LONG before her essay, and I'm not sure she completely understood it as I'm not sure she had a sense of humor. I do cringe occasionally when one of the guests says something like "I guess Alice Faye was a big star" or "who is Rosalind Russell" but I can get past it.Read full review »

Bryan is smart, funny, and obviously has a great affection for his subject matter. He provides not just commentary but helpful (historic, artistic) context for these movies, and showcases a variety of perspectives through his rotating cast of co-hosts. So much fun.
