Often great but podcast output is pretty random
The content on OTB can be as good as sports journalism gets. Ger is a great host and the other lads are coming out of the shadows of their predecessors. However speaking as an expat without radio access, the podcast output is very scattershot. Good shows like the Sunday paper reviews come out any time they feel like it, there are lots of random 7 minute pieces, all without much of a cohesive structure. I'd love them to do a proper US sports show podcast released at the same time every week, or maybe a boxing show, the football show, GAA, Sunday review and then everything else bracketed under an OTB Sports heading. That's more an organisational thing though, and its core this is a great quality sports podcast full of interesting and thoughtful insights into sporting life in Ireland and beyond.Read full review »

Ah lads, lay of the big social issues and cut out the pontificating - a big turnoff. It would be good to hear some good sporting news, analysis and insight occasionally. Time to take out the 2nd captains subscription methinks. Thank God for Wollongong Parkinson.

Great content. But. Subscribed via OTB app. Now I can only listen via the app and cannot listen through Apple Podcasts or Spotify. This is not a subscriber friendly option. €9.99 to listen on one platform. Not user friendly as listeners listen on multiple platforms. Sort it out
