More confusing than helpful
I don't normally bother writing reviews, but the quality of these lectures irked me to the point where I had no choice. I am reviewing calculus for my Masters level Economics courses. I've already worked through some books and thought that some iUniversity lectures, whereby I could see examples and hear explanations, would only strengthen my understanding. Unfortunately, that was not the case with these lectures. Clearly the professor understands the material, but suffers the curse of many PhD's in Science; thorough understanding but an inability to get ideas across clearly. The teaching is scattered and haphazard, the professor makes too many assumptions for what he refers to as a class to teach the basics, and he muddles ideas with poor examples. I may only be studying Calculus for Economics, but these lectures helped to undo some of the learning I had done before I started. I gave it 2 stars for the few (and far between) nuggets of wisdom dispensed during the lecture series.

I could have watched these when I was still in college. Maybe I would have passed.
