Thank you!
This is by far my favorite podcast, and I have a group of four sons who agree wholeheartedly. My 10-year-old in particular gets into the car and asks: “Is there a new high side/low side episode?“. He often explains to me that while he’s not interested in riding a motorcycle on the street (it’s too scary), he really likes the way the podcast teaches us about motorcycles and motorcycle history. He wants to ride on the dirt and has been lobbying for a dirtbike for months. This madness all began a few months ago when my eldest son (17) declared that he was going to obtain and ride a motorcycle. We have no history of motorcycling in our family and this was all new to me in my late 40s. As my son is quickly approaching the age where those kind of decisions are entirely out of my hands, his declaration spurred of flurry of research, which includes, among other things, listening to hs/ls and discussing what we learn. The enthusiasm hasn't waned -- we are planning on taking an MSF course together soon. Meanwhile, the boys have already picked out their preferred styles and even models of motorcycles. Their plans run the gamut, with eldest eyeing naked sport bikes, the middle two divided between European classic motorcycles and american cruisers, and the youngest dreaming of offroad adventures. As for me, I obtained my license and will soon be riding a Triumph Speed 400 to work. The podcast is thoroughly entertaining, but I particularly appreciate the way that definitions and context are provided throughout. That has made the process of learning about this new hobby much more approachable and rewarding. Motorcycles have turned out to be a pretty special way that me and my boys are bonding and the HS/LS podcast has been a big part of it. Thank you!Read full review »

Nice show, enjoy listening on my commute to work. Makes it easier to pass these snowy days w/o riding. ..guests interviews are my favourite part.
