The most fun you can have looking at the past
The hosts describe their show as “audio googling” through history, and that’s a pretty apt description. It reminds me of the old show on PBS (in the USA) James Burke’s “Connections,” which traced the history of technology. Even if you’re not usually interested in History, give this podcast a listen. It’s lively, fun, and totally engaging.

Really interesting podcast, reminds me somewhat of Bill Bryson's books and QI.Read full review »

Started with their Trafalgar episode and half or more was talking about the things they would like to talk about rather than talking about Trafalgar. Maybe I’ll give them a second chance but so far not impressed.
