Love the church history and it is handled well, which has challenged me to look at my own personal experiences through a different lens. I read some reviews that don’t like to have the status quo questioned. I say digest the ideas, research the stated facts to see if there is truth, and if so it...Read full review »

The history aspects in terms of straight historical facts with no bias is great. I’ve listened to almost every episode and I’ve enjoyed many aspects. When it got into race, unfortunately, it took a turn into pushing modern morales on people who lived generations ago. It turned into blaming...Read full review »

I loved this podcast when it started, but it had drifted way off mission.

History and hope is a fantastic podcast. Matthew and Mark are well informed and knowledgeable about the subjects they discuss. They are also entertaining to listen to. I look forward to each new episode they put out and am interested to see what other subjects they cover.

I have enjoyed the episodes. I would like to hear your take on the New Hampshire Confession of Faith from 1833 and how that ties into the one from 1611. I have done some research on my on but would love to hear your historical knowledge on the topic.

The first two episodes have challenged my thinking on what I've been taught as a baptist. I have a lot still to learn and research. Thanks for starting this podcast!Read full review »
