“The entire family - ages 3, 11, 41 and 47 - loved it as there's something for everyone. Songs and sounds for the very young one, great stories for the rest of us. Sophie's the star but her slightly camp, vaguely confused Dad is hilarious, sounding like he's trying to keep up with his daughter. Far far better than Horrible Histories which I always felt my 11 year old remembered the gruesome parts but not the story or significance. The only downside is that we're all now hooked on history and storytelling and I'm going to have to read up on events and why people did things and the consequences and all the other vivid details that I wish they'd taught me in school.
