There are definite barriers to home education, (needing to work outside the home to pay the bills, especially for single parent families, co-parenting with someone who refuses to support home education etc) but a lack of qualifications is not one of them. #aHillToDieOn

This week I’m talking to Lyndsay from @rainbows_and_wellies on Instagram. We talk about home educating an only child, and how home edding can provide a safe environment for an autistic child both to learn in a way that suits them, and get the degree of socialisation that feels comfortable to them (in comparison to the 'coke bottle' effect.) We also chat about finding your groove when you're unexpectedly home educating, through community and time spent reflected on the things that are working.
