I’m an old age psychiatrist and like to try to keep my medical knowledge up to date and challenged. I have recommended this podcast to many colleagues. I also like the discussions about bias and clinical reasoning . I often listen to these in the car with my husband who is also a medic - always...Read full review »

I listen to this podcast as an oncology reg interested in acute oncology. It’s an excellent reminder of acute medicine but I also love hearing Ami, Ben and guests talking through decision making. It shows me just how differently we are trained to this in Oncology! Would love to hear an episode of...Read full review »

The audio on season 2 ep 9 is so terrible. I can barely understand what anyone is saying, even on headphones

A thoroughly high quality series of podcasts, with pearls of wisdom relating to both the clinical and non-clinical aspects of practice. In particular, I find it really beneficial to hear about uncertainty and strategies to mitigate this, and I think this is great modelling for all healthcare...Read full review »

Such a brilliant podcast! I’m a medical student in the UK and really enjoying hearing excellent doctors discussing how they problem solve through cases and openly address the human factors in their decision making. Inspiring me to become an acute medic, keep it up!

Appreciate the honesty in this discussion Ben and Amy. Some real take home points that aren’t often discussed (but often experienced)to mull over. Really helpful. Thank you

So often the clinical decision-making can appear obtuse, or even inaccessible to a junior in the medical profession. The team here do an excellent job of demystifying thought processes and challenging each other and the listener. Very much enjoying this podcast!

I find this podcast absolutely fascinating. I listen to this for fun and I’m not even in the sector. So much learning, but in a lively and enjoyable format. Congratulations!
