What a fantastic listen - I’ve just spent a very enjoyable half hour in the company of Matt and Grayson as they chat away on bikes and in pubs. I would highly recommend this episode to everybody

If this break in service doesn’t resolve itself soon I may have to start listening to Cavs’ mate in the cafe

brilliant pod - and how do they record in such seamless quality? Madness. Keep it up.

Cav
Matt does a great job, although how he tolerates such delicate, rude snowflakes like Mark Cavendish in the TOB special is even more a credit to him. Cav - it’s over. Get over it, man up and move on. Luckily almost all the other pros are warm and friendly and give some interesting insight...Read full review »

I'm a fan of (nearly) all cycling related podcasts. Just listened to the Tour of Britain special episode, loved it, great accompaniment to my early morning ride this morning, on my 'home roads'. Keep up the great work, Matt and friends.Read full review »

Just listened to the second episode of the first series - so far so good! I found the experiences, struggles, phobias..... very insightful. Not really understanding much about Transitional people and their views and differences made me understand a little bit more. What a lovely and genuine...Read full review »

Really enjoy the different scenarios in which each story is shared. Particularly enjoyed the drill into the pros riding with their home chain gangs. Keep up the great pods!

I really enjoy the quality of the podcast, touching on cycling, and other personalities. Keep up the good work! JFM

Very enjoyable podcast with standards of guests excellent. Matt is an intelligent and listenable interviewer. Shame Phil “I invented Cycling” Jones is all over this via the Brother UK sponsorship and related interview stings. Would be 5 star review if you bin him off...

Great podcast! I think these podcasts are more interesting because Matt interviews guests whilst riding their familiar roads. And it seems they are more open to answer questions. Also makes we wanna ride more. Well done Matt

I’ve found Matts podcasts absolutely fantastic to listen to, they provide a interesting insight into the lives and stories of all kinds of different people from the cycling world. Well worth a listen to.

Really enjoy Homeroads podcast and like the fact the cyclist featured aren’t all pros and have something different to talk about! Look forward to hearing more from Matt and his riding partners :)

Genuinely interesting insights into the cycling lives of some familiar and (to me, at least) not-so-familiar names. Matt Barbet’s a relaxed and engaging interviewer who knows his sport and has done his research; and the format of sharing a ride is conductive to some illuminating discussions....Read full review »

Nice format for a podcast. Really feels like you’re just going for a ride with Matt and his interviewee. My only slight criticism is that the sound levels are a bit too quiet for some of the riding sections - I guess it’s hard to get the recording equipment working well while on the bike, in...Read full review »

Really enjoying this, you can tell how relaxed the interviewees are as they are in charge of the route, so it’s more of a conversation than an interview. The fact you can hear the laboured breathing on climbs makes it feel like you’re sitting on their wheel in a group.

Absolutely love this pod cast it’s the highlight to my week. Matt is a great guy he seems to ask all the right question and the chat between him and his guest is perfect, he really gets the guest talking and you feel like your on the ride with them both. Keep up the great work Matt I am...Read full review »

Really enjoying this podcast so far. I was excited about the two Peak District shows as those are my home roads, but everything has been great to be honest. A great range of guests and Matt’s easygoing style allows the interviewees ample space to share their passion. Highly recommended!

A bit of insight into the other side of cycling. More about the person and their story and the areas that mean the most to them than watts per kg. Well worth a listen.

Lovely idea, great intimate interviews and makes you want to grab your bike and get out there. Thanks.

I am an avid cycling fan and almost exclusively listen to road-cycling related podcasts. Just stumbled across Home Roads via Instagram. The format of this podcast is its real draw—-an interview conducted during a ride on a cyclist’s local roads. Sharing a ride and sharing stories, how time is...Read full review »

These are really interesting and insightful interviews with people from the world of cycling. Matt is a great interviewer and really gets new things out of his subjects.....not always easy with pro sports people. The concept is really simple: go for a ride with a famous face from the cycling...Read full review »
