Undocumented Americans Are Americans
As someone who immigrated to the U.S. as a child and lived life as an undocumented immigrant for two decades, this podcast is especially resonant. Homeland Insecurity makes it clear that both Republican and Democratic administrations have negatively impacted immigrants and their communities, often in an attempt to allay fears while exhibiting a veneer of “law and order” bravado. The average American has no idea how the immigration system works, and many use immigrants as a scapegoat for their racism and xenophobia. This podcast pulls back the curtain so that those who have eyes and ears can truly see and hear.
