Take the time to learn
First off, before an episode of this podcast was even released, there were LOADS of bad comments. People had already made up their minds before even giving the show a listen. If they would have given it a chance, they would have heard a show that delves into the history and policies that shaped the topic of immigration into what it is today - one that deeply divides us and that has steadily grown to be a major talking point of both the Democratic and Republican parties. I think what most people need to realize is that this is a human issue, not just a policy issue or party issue. And you’ll learn more about it if you take the time to listen to this podcast.

In 1942, the U.S. denied the entry of Jewish refugees fleeing the Holocaust, and accused them of being German spies. The U.S. sent those Jews to their death. I think we can all agree that was wrong.
