Buckle in for all of the ads…
Update: They really are just phoning it in these days. Never prepared, waaaay too many ads, and Angela especially doesn’t seem to even want to be there anymore. I think it’s just a money-maker at this point for both. Free perks and a vehicle to pitch their personal wares. It used to be a great podcast, so if you’re looking for inspiration listen back to the 2020-2021 episodes. Current content is just, meh. Shame. Let me start by saving this is a fabulous podcast. Shaye and Angela are charming and knowledgeable. There’s a lot to be had here. HOWEVER, a third of each episode is taken up by ads for their sponsors. Yes, I know this is a business and they deserve to be compensated for their content. But, 30 minutes of each 90 minute episode is dedicated to it. Its leaving a poor taste ever since they went from 2 episodes a week to one. Maybe they should consider making it two hours an episode so they can shill for their advertisers and still put out beefy content. I’ve been listening since day one and the last several months have been lacking honestly. Based on other reviews, it seems like I’m not the only one feeling this way. I’m torn because I really do like this show, but it’s getting a bit tedious to be constantly “pitched” to.

At 55, I am overjoyed to celebrate two women who are showing us the ART of homemaking. I was a stay-at-home mom for 12 years before leaving my nest to teach. Although I am grateful for the many blessings I received from teaching, I always mourned the day I left my home and spent all of my energy...Read full review »
