LOVE IT: This review is long overdue
Chris, Alan (and Will in the ether), what a spectacular success this podcast is. I now absolutely crave your frank and funny discussions on topics that so often go unsaid in the media. I’m a late 30s, gay cis-man but despite that, it’s not very often that I listen to a podcast that I can so fully and genuinely relate to but I find myself feeling implicitly included in your show. I think it’s a combination of the warmth that oozes from Chris. And whilst I loved Will on the podcast for his honesty and realness, I am completely in platonic love with Alan who has taken to this podcast like a duck to water...possibly the duck he broke. I’m still not sure what that means. Oh, also, what are these ramps that are leftover in Alan’s kitchen and keep being referred to? As a Scottish person living abroad it’s lovely to hear Alan’s little colloquialisms (and also his vocal support of Scottish independence). But I digress. I’ve listened from the start and whilst the earlier seasons were great, I feel like the guests (Jeremy O’Harris, Hannah Gadsby and Cynthia Nixon especially) and the discussions this season are really pushing the boundary so keep on doing your thing and representing the broad spectrum that our community encompasses. Love and lefty vibes. Kieran

Nothing feels forced. A lot of ground is covered in a chatty format but it never feels like a...Read full review »
