A bit vague and disjointed
This is not an easy podcast to get into since it takes far too long for the podcast to even describe what the story is about in a general sense. The fist episode is full of “and something shocking would happen!” (30 minutes later) “and you won’t believe the shocking thing that would happen!” One shouldn’t have to listen for 40 minutes to get an idea of what the story is about and decide whether one wants to listen. Also there is too much “here’s an interesting scene, but after describing it let’s jump back in time so you forget about it by the time we get back to it.” I’d personally prefer the story told in the order in which it happened without these weird cuts. But a few episodes in and I’m not even sure what I’m listening to.

Really engaging writing and presenting. Episodes come out a few days early for Wondery members, but they all become free to listen to. Great show.
