Magical, smart and hilarious
Hotels have a liminal magic to them what with guests and staff creating an ersatz universe powered by a sense of either coming or going, all within the walls of a special building. Hotel Daydream draws on this essence to spin surreal and playful tales delivered by a very dignified, unflinching concierge as he shares announcements and updates concerning an imaginative patronage including everything from cryptids to yes even intangible math equations. That’s what’s so charming about this show is that it keeps not just a straight face, but perfect posture whilst describing the completely cartoonish and outlandish. Each entry is a nice, clean excursion into a place with its own wild yet steadied rules. I like to think of it as the closed-universe logic of The Continental from John Wick meets the delightful comedy of Fawlty Towers meets a Richard Scarry book but with more than just rabbits in suits, all the while bursting with literary absurdity. Dependable, silly and smart or your money back - that’s the Hotel Daydream guarantee!

Its a great listen that,...Read full review »

This is so charming, so quirky and so lovable. They do a brilliant job putting a whole world together with rich storytelling and great background music. Its better than a full cast shows out there. Give it a go! 🖤
