In a world gone mad I found the gentle storytelling of Daniel Allison akin to a big hug. In the stories and myths of old we can mine out great wisdom and understanding of the human condition without the psychobabble of our modern age. A lovely listen, I recommend it :)

I basically use this podcast as a bedtime story, finally filling the 30 year void from when my mum withdrew the service. So relaxing yet thought provoking, although as of yet my take aways from each story hasn’t even been close to Daniel’s. The music makes me want to host a banquet and have turn...Read full review »

Daniel tells stories in two parts: global tales that are magical and exciting, and the stories from his life. I love coming home after a long day and being swept away into different worlds with many different perspectives, as well as cheering for him in the audience of his first Muay Thai fight!...Read full review »

Daniels clear and lyrical voice just sings; commanding, but with a lightness and sublety that's perhaps rare and precious, sat amongst the hype and gloss of more needy dramatisations.
