Thrills! Tension! Suspense! This movie has none of those. Ben and Jess discuss Fantasy Island, a modern adaptation of the 70’s TV series. There’s a twist, though; the movie is specifically designed to bore the viewer so much that they begin daydreaming - creating their very own fantasy! That’s not true. I’m lying. Jesus, this one was bad.

Ben and Jess are back for their last ‘For Your Consideration’ of the season. This week, Jess has chosen ‘Empire of the Sun’. This 1987 war drama is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars a young Christian Bale as Jim - a boy caught in the middle of war-torn Shanghai as the Japanese invade.
