Fighting an addiction
HIBT fast became my new favourite podcast, and for that I have been desperately trying to ration my consumption. I commute three hours a day and can blow through a podcast quicker than they can make them, which often leaves me flailing about in a helpless puddle of withdrawal. With the end of each episode of HIBT I find myself in the same place that finishing a good book leaves me: in a state of solemn confusion concerning where I exist and who my real friends are; I just want to continue the interview! I'd love to see this podcast turned into a book with even more depth. The lives of the interviewees are enthralling, if not mostly for the fact that many of these brilliant individuals have common-man roots. HIBT is also the only podcast that can help me get through the miles on the treadmill, which has been a godsend given we are in a polar vortex and I've been stuck on the hamster wheel for the past few weeks. Fantastic.Read full review »
