Bring it back! Samira Ahmed brings light, intelligence, and originality to everything she touches. This format can let her use her intelligent questioning to so many people.

I have been thoroughly enjoying the How I Found My Voice podcast. Host Samira Ahmed is generous, well-researched and so inquisitive. She speaks with the cream of the crop in terms of the truly important influencers and thought leaders of our time. Her chat with Margaret Atwood grabbed me...Read full review »

I was looking forward to listening to this as I love Michael Palin. I found the questions rather abrasive and accusatory in parts. Unnecessary forthright style. Disappointing.

It was sometimes annoying that the moderator cut in when the guests were still talking. Please let her or him finish talking

Particularly enjoyed the one with Margaret Atwood and Anthony Horowitz, Priyanka Chopra though comes across as very self-regarding and precious.

One of my favourite podcasts. Samira is such a warm and interesting interviewer. You can tell she really does her research; and her questioning is excellent. The list of interviewees is varied - from Bernardine Evaristo to Graham Norton. Highly recommended. I look forward to every new episode.

Love Samira’s style of gently probing her guests with questions and getting deep into how they feel or felt. Listened to Ottolenghi and Graham Norton and I felt I could get inside their heads when they were young and how it shaped them into who they are today. Fascinating insights into people. Love.

Samira Ahmed is someone I recently discovered on Sky Arts and I delved deeper and found her amazing podcast! As a POC it is amazing to find such a wonderful person to look up to, the first episode I had listened back to was of Meera Syals and I was hooked on ever since!

I’ve just listened to the episode with the awesome David Lammy: like all of these podcasts, it was a joy. Samira is a skilful interviewer, asking thoughtful and searching questions and then - very importantly - leaving plenty of space for her guests to talk. Great podcast show.

Fantastic podcast, Samira is a superb interviewer providing insightful questions then allowing her guests the space to give fully thought out responses. Lots of fascinating guests, David Lammy a recent highlight. The only prob with it is I’ll never get to hear Samira Ahmed interviewed on the show...Read full review »

On the whole ok. Listening to the John McDonnell pod it was a case of massaging his ego. Why did we lose the election John ? .... ‘well... let me start at new labour and blame everyone ever since’ except me..... John I’d never vote Tory but you represent a rose tinted wolfie smith view that keeps...Read full review »

I love this series, getting fascinating stories out of people - drawn in by the big names, but have found some of the less well-known people to be very interesting. And have been moved to tears by it on a couple of occasions.

I love the list of guests this podcast chooses; I love how many interesting women they bring on (given how many other podcasts lean very male); and Samira is a brilliant interviewer - warm, open - giving room and encouragement for her guests to really open up... Lovely.
