NPA has recently undertaken a mid-term review of our National Development Plan (NDP 3) and in this episode, I try to shed light on what I consider to be some of the key findings. I also try to provide some explanations of the major realities in the performance of our economy and I further highlight some of the recommendations made to enable us keep moving forwards with transforming our Ugandan society.

Land Reform in Uganda has consistently hit snags and experienced challenges with many tensions being aroused. However, the time is now for us to revive the debate and ensure we get it right. This podcast tries to resuscitate this conversation and makes a contribution towards discussing the urgent need for land reform in Uganda. UBOS released the 2019/20 report recently which showed that the poverty levels in Uganda have stagnated for a while. The parish development model was identified in NDPIII as a vehicle through which household incomes and the quality of life of Ugandans will be improved. Food Security for Uganda still needs to be strengthened.
