This is exactly what I was looking for.
I'm a young trans guy only a year and some change into my transition and my mother has and is having a tough time digesting and grasping everything that's going on. Whenever I go to visit my mother, we try to carve out time to sit and listen to an episode together. It's helping her come to terms now that she knows she's not alone. I love seeing and hearing about parents that embrace their transgender children at a young age because I always wonder how differently my life would've been if mine had listened when I told them I was a boy when I was younger before I believed the party line they fed me until I shut up about it until I was so miserable that I couldn't anymore. This podcast gives me hope and I think it's wonderful.Read full review »
