This summer, in a ground-breaking ruling, a Dutch court ordered Shell to reduce its emissions. This is the first time a company has been made to take action to prevent climate breakdown.   The case was brought by Friends of the Earth Netherlands, alongside 17,000 co-plaintiffs and other organisations.
