Thank you x
Hi guys, I can’t begin to thank you both for this podcast There an age gap between me and husband (28yrs) and I’m a step parent with a hell of a lot of issues from my past and a history with depression too. This podcast brings so many nuggets of golden angles on marriage, I’m 11 years married and it’s really helped me see things from a different perspective. I have, for many years wanted to hear someone talk about step parenting from a place of knowing about it rather than reading a textbook and not having been a step parent. Our situation has had many many years of animosity and hurt resulting in no contact, however I also have a step mum and I know how it feels to be the child used to hurt the other parent! You won’t ever know how much listening to you cover so many subjects has helped, please keep this podcast going because it helps and I mean that! I’ve even played this to my husband and it’s really helped us both start conversations on things we would of avoided before. It’s where the age gap really shows because he comes from a generation of not talking and keeping his head in the sand. Essentially you’ve enabled us to communicate and I do believe i will look back in years to come and credit you both for saving our marriage xx

Very interesting and honest. Great to hear this all as a step mum, gave me plenty to think about.

I love the honesty in these podcasts, you are so brave to make yourself vulnerable like this. I have listened to all of these and the parenting teenagers podcasts and love them. You work so hard to be the best you can be and it is inspirational. I’m so pleased there’s a new episode!!
