“I’ve been listening to these lectures for about two years now and though I’ve recently fallen behind in my listening I must say that I love the work of Dr Cecil. It rekindled my love of philosophy and literature and thinking for thinking’s sake and I must thank him for it.
A wonderful set of lectures on famous (and some not-so-famous) thinkers that doesn’t just rattle through their writings. Wes introduces the thinkers, gives their historical context and importance and also selves into their personal lives. This gives the subject matter so much more life and makes it extremely engaging and enjoyable. What’s more, it’s often pretty funny!
Wes, I’ll continue to listen and relentlessly recommend your work to my friends, coworkers, and anyone who’ll listen to me.
