Hello, my loves!Welcome back to the podcast! Today, I wanted to talk about something that I get a little bit heated about .... ;).... that is the inspirational, motivating, determination associated with losing weight or dieting! It breaks my heart! I remember when I first struggled with food, I began to diet not only to lose some weight and change my body, but I also wanted the IDENTITY I had been show online that came along with weight loss or living in a smaller frame! I saw so many people online talking about how inspired they were by someone going keto or how motivating it was to see people lose weight each week & I wanted to be seen as productive, successful, and admirable too! I think there is a MAJOR problem when it comes to diet culture and the fitness industry that promotes not only their unsustainable and sometimes detrimental weight loss plans, programs or products, but also the false fairytale that losing weight will also make you a better human being! That somehow worth is tied to weight-loss and productive people only eat Keto, for example!
