Pronounces that Lucy Letby is innocent on the day of the jury verdict in her trial. But provides no evidence. Just a hunch. Tells you everything you need to know. Nothing is sacred / but this demonstrates judgment / which is obviously poor.

I can’t think of another journalist and war reporter so engaging and in touch with what we want to hear. BBC’s loss!

John Sweeny, what a guy. I wish I had a fraction of his ability to not give a crap! His guests are always fascinating and John gets some great answers out of them Very insightful and inspiring podcast and I live the fact that he has a stan at Putin the Petty poisoner at every opportunity!

I’ve enjoyed this series immensely. A great binge listen and Sweeney manages to make you very interested in the subjects even tho as an Aussie I’ve not familiar with some of them. The stalking episodes are outstanding.

Great content but for crying out loud let the guests talk. Presenter 20% Guest 80% please not 75% 25% presenter/guest ratio. About to give up

For those who might find it useful theees a study (Risk Factors for Violence Among Stalkers) which looked into a bunch of variables to see what might enable people to predict whether a stalker would be violent. Among the variables were: whether the stalker had a previous relationship with the...Read full review »

I am an newcomer to Sweeney’s work, falling into his reporting on the Russian invasion of Ukraine this past year. I have swiftly been catching up with his body of work, and this podcast is some of the best yet! I find these recent conversations intensely riveting and didn’t want the episodes to...Read full review »

Rebranding a show I subscribed to in 2020 out of sheer boredom and a vague interest in the Ghislaine Maxwell story into a vehicle for John Sweeney’s ego that has Trojan horsed into my podcast feed rather disingenuous don’t you think?

The followers was great, so might Sweeney Talks. But I only subscribed to one of them. Don’t go changing a show on the same feed as a way of forcing downloads.

I feel like a content warning is required in the last episode. I was definitely not prepared for the recordings of the victim or the victim’s flat mate.

Thanks for speaking out. Will only serve to help others who are victims

Brilliant . Feel for Sheila, she’s such a all round strong woman to have had such an horrendous experience. . Great information for others .

Not sure if we should praise you - for being so repressed about the internal damage this was doing to you, the stiff upper lip attitude and the stoicism (all so very British) - because you refer to it many times in this episode. I don’t find this to be a ‘quality’ that should be encouraged...Read full review »

John Sweeney is good to listen to, self-deprecating and it’s enjoyable to listen to the backstory of Robert Maxwell - which gets darker as the episodes progress. More in depth than the usual salacious Epstein/Maxwell narrative.

This is a must listen! I enjoyed the style of John Sweeney's reporting . He is a very gifted storyteller, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this podcast. Sweeney is succinct, thorough , thoughtful and obviously well researched on this case. He throws out information that I was unaware of...Read full review »

Really wanted to learn more about Ghislaine , and this was a really detailed look at her upbringing and circumstance much more broadly than purely her time with Epstein. Thank you for putting this together!

Thorough research and clearly articulated evidence presented in this podcast. I would recommend.

Ignore (ignorant) previous cruel comments - this podcast is excellent & professionally presented. People are allowed to speak a little different.

The host isn’t bad, and the production is decent. The less than stellar review is because I just felt that this podcast didn’t really focus on Ghislaine much in the middle (ie, the recruitment period). It was too similar to the Jeffrey Epstein content I have viewed or listened to before, and I...Read full review »

Ok so gotta say that it is hard to listen to somebody who has a speech impediment. Also what is it with having to download Apps to listen to the trial episodes? There are some good points re Maxwell’s relationship with her sadistic father and the similarities with Epstein. Ghislaine is probably...Read full review »

This is an interesting podcast, brought from a new angle. Too bad it derails in the last episode, with an anonymous psychoanalist applying all sorts of labels on the key players, such as narcism. Totally unnecessary and also questionable from an ethical perspective.

What’s a huge stretch to say Ivanka Trump is the same as Ghislaine. And you hardly mention Bill Clinton at all. How many trips on Epstuens plane? Shame on your coverage.

You can’t trust the information this podcast is “reporting” since they think Jeffrey Epstein actually killed himself. Give me a break! Find another podcast that’s reporting honestly and factual.

Told in a slightly hyperbolic style, the host can't resist trotting out endless "take a listen to this witness at her utter shock" or "you can hear the panic in his voice" and i don't hear anything. I mean the revelations are unsettling, you don't have to add jewelry....Read full review »

… I found the unhealthy relationship she appeared to have with her father quite revealing. It might explain her apparent cold disregard for Epsteins victims; regarding them as fodder. Also her wishing to please Epstein mirrors the approval syndrome she had re her Father.

Basically just a retread of reporting others have done, better, elsewhere. Host John Sweeney and his producer both inexplicably mispronounce the name of their protagonist throughout the entire thing. If you nothing or very little about the whole back story of the Maxwells and the subsequent scandal around Epstein it is fascinating. If you know a lot about it , it will still be a good listen. You won’t know it all. I thought the authors style and presentation made it all the better. Brilliant.

John Sweeney expertly makes the links between the ‘players’ tying together this criminal jigsaw puzzle. Riveting analysis- had to listen to each episode a couple of times to absorb the depth of his findings. Extraordinary. With John’s speech impediment sometimes a little muffled… his producer,...Read full review »
