Riveting
Every episode is fascinating, and leaves one with many questions. At the end of each episode, I am left waiting for the next. The trial will be just as riveting, but Mr. Sweeney never lets one forget the many young women who this sordid story is about. Mr Sweeney reminds us all that these young women are living still in a nightmare and are much more than the disposable distractions of the rich and soulless players who believed they were no more than inexpensive unimportant pawns in a game. One is also left wondering if these young women were not a much larger part of Epstein’s financial game of wealth and influence. This is a very important story of what worth a young woman’s life and dreams holds, and whether as is suggested by this story, their lives were unimportant, but possibly but essential in the wealth Epstein managed to grow from who knows where. Exploitation of young women, not such a stretch really. A story as old as time. I for one hope for justice, I for one hope for an ending that begins with change, real change.

Rival podcast Defiance is more thorough. Agree with earlier reviewer who criticised the over dramatic presentation style here eg ‘you can hear the fear in her voice x years later’ when you really couldn’t. Important story which needs investigating, but unfortunately this is not the best podcast...Read full review »
