Helped me calm down!
Despite being obstensibly about productivity and creativity, Hurry Slowly is really about revealing how society has stripped us of our humanity, and ways to get it back. I was at the height of a time-management crisis - typical Millennial paralyzed by my pages of mundane to-dos and beating myself up for being a total failure - and listening to a handful of Hurry Slowlies helped me calm down so much! It's funny how I "know" lots of things like how it's better to be attentive to the present moment and it's healthy to spend time outdoors, but to hear them validated by research and intelligent, mindful conversation really helps those facts land.
