Best Dose of Professional Development
I discovered this podcast through an article Jocelyn wrote (I think it was on Medium?) and promptly subscribed as well as checked out her book titled Unsubscribe. It's rare to find thoughtful commentary and interviews on topics that bridge creativity and the administrative and business/management that is part of creative work. It's my weekly dose of arts administrator/ educator / choreographer / aspiring web dev professional development that keeps me questioning and investing in the how and why of my practice. Thanks, Jocelyn for actioning you creative talents towards fueling the creative talents of others.Read full review »

I am listening on request from my boss and I enjoy the content, but the sound quality is quite bad. Transom has great resources for better recording practices, just FYI! There’s lots you can do without having to buy lots of fancy equipment or studio time.

I love the people Joycelyn interviews. A wide range and excellent thought-provoking questions with deep answers. It is a delight and helps me continue my path of hurrying slowly. Meg
