Eleanor Gray is a fantastic knowledgeable guest: I’m going to miss this pod.

I had to turn off the recent episode on Anthology 1 which was frustrating . I’m all for people with a sense of humour but one of the ladies in the show has the most annoying laugh ,, I mean laughing at her own jokes and no matter what the comment that stupid giggle , to the point where she was...Read full review »

This really is one of the very best Beatles podcasts! A great idea and great guests sharing the Fab love and much hilarity and a not a few touching moments. Very sorry this dream is over but in the end …. well you know the rest. Marc Stewart

I love this Beatles discussion. I’ve gone back to the beginning. Superb

This podcast is a wonderful deep (and shallow) dive into the vast range of Beatles music. Highly recommended

Well worthy of a second review (my first was a couple of years ago). This podcast is my Fab Four favourite (and I listen to quite a few). The subjects are always well researched, well presented and the eclectic list of guests is always interesting, even if opinions sometimes differ from my own....Read full review »

Chris’s passion for and awareness of the importance of The Beatles shines through. Always entertaining and informative. Ranks among the best podcasts about the Beatles out there. The day is better when an episode drops.

My favourite podcast. Joyful stuff, charmingly presented. It has made me love my favourite stuff more, and helped me discover loads of solo material I’d never heard. Plus, the Ringo Christmas Album episode had me howling with laughter. But how the heck has the eggpod done that before it’s got to...Read full review »

For too long I have listened… and listened to this wonderful podcast. I’ve submitted five star reviews, but have gone too long without writing about just how much I appreciate everyone of these episodes. I don’t always agree with some of the comments, but more often I do, and I always learn...Read full review »

I may not have listened to every episode, but of the majority I’ve listened to it’s been an entertaining and informative listen. There’s nothing better than learning more about something you already knew about, but with a bit of humour thrown in for good measure. The stand out episodes for me...Read full review »

An informatively engaging Beatle p’cast, one of three that I enjoy from the numerous ones on the band & that keeps a fairly regular pace at uploading new eps. Shaw’s a good host and draws the guests into comfy Fab-facts chat (tho he sometimes gets lax in correcting their errors, like when...Read full review »

These shows are quite simply perfectly produced. Chris does an amazing job with every episode, both the production and as the host. The guests are a fantastic mix and you can tell just how much they all love the greatest band ever. The Get Back series is an astonishing piece of work. Every...Read full review »

BBC lite. Well produced. If the guest is worthwhile and can be enjoyable. Michael Lindsey Hogg was a highlight. Sadly too often it's D list celebrities. This podcast is so great for celebrating the joy that the Beatles brought into the world. The presenter and guests are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and insightful without ever becoming train spotting bores (unlike some other Beatles podcasts).

I love the podcast but listening to Samira sucking on a lozenge for an hour wasn’t my favorite episode.

This podcast helped me through the lockdowns, opened my eyes to some of the solo stuff I was previously too cool or too ignorant to have listened to before and enhanced my appreciation of the music I’ve loved above all else since birth. I love listening to this podcast, whether that be when I’m sat in a queue on the M6, on walk round Liverpool where I live, planes and trains, but this latest 4 x part Macca at 80 series has taken the podcast to another level; absolutely amazing Well done everyone

I admit I was late to the “Eggpod” party and therefore have “binge listened” to the 100 episodes (at time of writing) in the first few months of 2022. One word: AMAZING! Guests with so many different opinions on all things Beatle (and solo work too) have given me a whole new dimension on the Fab...Read full review »

February 23: Thank you for revisiting McCartney II. Dan Rebellato was terrific. And I agree with him, All You Horseriders is a riot. A highlight of the project for me. It was nice to hear a fan of the album talk about it. Thanks, and keep up the great work! Love the podcast. Listening in Canada....Read full review »

Just made it through all of the Get Back egg pods and feel oddly emotional. A titanic achievement sir. Take a bow. A wonderful podcast with a most genial host who allows guests room to breath. Could not recommend it any higher.

I’ve always loved this podcast, but Chris Shaw’s coverage of the Get Back documentary is beyond the beyond. Along with Something About The Beatles and Nothing Is Real, one of the best Beatles pods around. The Episode #74 on the Revolver album was amazing. Listened to that one twice. Overall, all episodes I have listened too have a good combination of basic fan service and more in depth analysis of the Beatles music.

Such great enjoyment I get from every chuckle I hear. As an American, I have to admit that I don’t know anyone on this podcast! But, my goodness, I feel at home here as a longtime Beatle fan. I’m getting obsessive again! And I thank you for that, sincerely.

After listening to the conversation with Ian Leslie about Paul McCartney and then reading his article: 64 reasons to Celebrate Paul McCartney, I am so glad that I chose to subscribe to I Am the Eggpod. Ian confirmed for me why I have always been an unapologetic Beatles geek whose favorite is Paul.

I found the Ian Leslie podcast to be deeply enjoyable but unshakable moving. What an incredibly thoughtful expression of his joy of these Paul McCartney songs. Every Paul McCartney fan should listen to this episode.

This is excellent. I’d almost given up hope of finding a McCartney/ Beatles podcast that would entertain me, then I found this beauty. Luckily for me when I was a kid I lived in a house that bought Beatles records. Wild Life came out when I was 12 years old and all the Paul solo albums up to that point, were in our house.
