A Treasure Trove for Elton Fans
When I was 13 years old, my older brother took me on the train from Long Island to New York City to see Elton and Ray Cooper at the Palladium. The year was 1979 and my life was forever changed. The musical magic I experienced that night is somehow captured by this brilliant podcast. I cannot completely explain the reasons, but my love and appreciation for Elton’s enormous catalog has grown with each episode. And then, when I saw an entire episode was devoted to Ego (which he played all those years ago), I knew this podcast would never disappoint. Thank you so much for giving us this Elton John treasure trove.

This pod is a precious thing. Neil's a great (and funny) presenter, interviewer (with the best guests [like Caleb Quaye!]), and he brings musical insight often accompanied by illuminating audio clips. So turn on the smartphone and shut out the lights: Neil Barrett is podding tonight!Read full review »

I recently stumbled across this excellent podcast and have been listening to it over the course of the last 2/3 weeks. I would regard it as a ‘must’ listen to any Elton fan. Thank you.
