Interesting and honest
I listened to Ep 22 (looked around and saw no one looked like me) and Jessica voiced deep questions about belonging. Where are we similar despite our outward appearance? What is our lived experience and how does it apply? And where do / don't we belong? I am reminded of how many BIPOC feel like outsiders, and perhaps even pass up opportunities because of this exact discomfort. It's courageous (and sometimes tiring) work to keep showing up over and over, but I am reminded of how important this work is.Read full review »

Jessica is as insightful, inspiring, and persuasive as she is beautiful. So fun to talk with! It was hard to say goodbye, and I’m imagining all her listeners feel the same way when each episode ends. Delightful!
