A great resource
This is a fantastic supplement to regular text-book focused classes for people learning Mandarin. You get to practise listening to words, phrases and then dialogues. Each class is built around a simple grammar point or phrase, and repeats and repeats it. The new vocabulary each week involves words you will use in daily life. The language is colloquial (which is good). Ashleigh’s pronunciation is precise, her father’s is not, which is also useful for learning to understand actual Chinese people. As long as you do a regular class as your main language learning, this will really help as an additional resource. Inwish there were more like it.

Wonderful podcast for building Chinese vocabulary and listening abilities. The hosts speak naturally and it may be difficult to keep up, but you start to learn really quickly
