Dean and Joe, the stuff you guys are putting on this podcast is nothing short of inspirational. In fact, I'm starting to advertise again after a years-long hiatus. We've boosted profits every year since 2001 but you've FORCED me to realize the comfort trap I've suckered myself into. So I called up the 10 ad reps we've worked with in the past and (unbeknownst to them) scheduled them all for the same appointment time - called it a free seminar in selling advertising to small businesses. Told them that from now on, I'm not spending a penny more than I can justify according the response that their ad produces and the return on investment that I see. One guy walked out after I failed to convince him that I'm not interested in image ads or ego driven campaigns. Everyone else thanked me for the education and a few got contracts signed. We'll be using a classified style ad to drive traffic through texting to view our "SECRET" video for parents… education redefined.
I haven't been this excited about my business since I found out you could charge other owners good money to learn how to copy your success… It's like having superpowers of some kind… and no, my name is not Tellman Knudsen.

“I put this on whilst I drove to see a client. It was an episode where the guys chose random businesses from the yellow pages. Really got a lot out if it and just reminded me that you need to keep topping up your direct response knowledge to keep it at the forefront of your mind. Keep it up guys!”
