Entertaining and insightful
Wow, this is off to a promising start. I've always enjoyed the Mountain Goats, which brought me to this podcast in the first place, but I'm going to end up staying for the discussions among talented artists regarding their craft. Ostensibly, it's about the songs of the Mountain Goats, and it's a great jumping off point. John Darnielle talks about his music in a wonderfully candid way, but as it progresses it becomes a discussion about the larger world of creating art and sharing those experiences with others. It's inspiring and entertaining, and I plan on listening to every episode as it becomes available.Read full review »

I have listened to every episode of this, really enjoying the covers and the moments where John Darnielle gets to speak. Unfortunately, John is interrupted by Joseph Fink far too often.
