I’m Addicted, But In a Good Way
Jen is my hero. It is my firm belief that over the past 25 years, she has become one of the most important voices in comedy. She is easily one of my favorite comedians and writers. This podcast, however, is different from her many comedy albums, Netflix specials, and best-selling books, in that it is simply Jen providing us with a window into how she thinks and what makes her tick. Jen is a wonderful extemporaneous speaker and is totally at home when talking about herself, no matter whether she's sharing meaningful details of her personal life, or hilarious stories of her career on stage and in television. Whether she’s venting, giving advice, or doing a deep dive into pop culture or politics, she’s always fun and honest. If you love talking to people who are bright, edgy, and introspective, then you owe it to yourself to listen to a few episodes. There are literally hundreds at this point, so find one that interests you, pour the wine, and relax, knowing that one of the most gifted conversationalists is about to entertain you, and all you have to do is put your feet up and kick back. I guarantee you will laugh, and if you listen closely, you might just learn to be more thoughtful and kinder to yourself and to others.Read full review »
